Product Information

However, as our products are handmade and/or hand-finished, minor variations in colour, texture, finish, frosting, surface appearance and fragrance may occur. Such variations are natural characteristics of candle-making and will not necessarily be considered defects.

The actual colour of a product may also vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings and lighting conditions.

Fragrance

Fragrance perception can vary from person to person. Factors such as room size, ventilation, temperature, placement and individual sensitivity may affect the perceived fragrance intensity.

Therefore, differences in fragrance perception alone will not be considered a product defect.

Candle Safety

Candles are products that involve an open flame and must always be used responsibly.

Customers must read and follow the candle-care and safety instructions provided with the product before use.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children, pets, curtains, furniture and other flammable materials. Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface and discontinue use when the remaining wax reaches the recommended level stated in the candle-care instructions.

The Scented Alchemy shall not be responsible for damage, injury or loss resulting from misuse, negligence or failure to follow candle safety instructions.

Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products or modify product specifications, fragrances, packaging or designs at any time without prior notice.

If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you regarding the available options, which may include a replacement or refund, as applicable.

Pricing

All prices displayed on the website are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

We make every effort to ensure that product prices are accurate. However, in the event of an inadvertent pricing or listing error, we reserve the right to correct the error.

Applicable taxes and shipping charges, if any, will be displayed during the checkout process.

Orders

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order will be considered accepted once payment has been successfully received and/or an order confirmation has been issued by us.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order in circumstances including, but not limited to, product availability issues, incorrect pricing or product information, suspected fraudulent or unauthorised transactions, incorrect or incomplete customer information, and unforeseen circumstances affecting fulfilment.

If we cancel an order for which payment has already been received, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method, subject to the applicable refund process.

Payment

Payments must be made through the payment methods made available on our website.

We do not store complete debit card, credit card or other payment instrument details on our servers unless specifically permitted through a secure payment service provider.

Orders will generally be processed after successful confirmation of payment.

Shipping & Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe communicated on the website or at checkout.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on the destination, courier service, weather conditions, holidays, public disruptions and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, delivery is subject to the courier partner’s terms and serviceability.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, including name, address, phone number and PIN code.

The Scented Alchemy will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

Order Cancellation

Cancellation requests may be accepted only if the order has not already been processed or dispatched.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.

To request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details provided on our website.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect product selection or personal preference regarding fragrance.

However, if your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us assess the issue, you may be required to provide your order number, photographs of the outer packaging, photographs of the product and damage, a short video where applicable, and any other information reasonably required by our customer-care team.

After reviewing the issue, we may, at our discretion and subject to the circumstances, offer a replacement, store credit or refund.

Products that have been used, burned, altered or damaged after delivery due to customer handling may not qualify for a replacement or refund.

Damaged Products

Our candles are fragile products and may occasionally be affected during transportation.

If your product arrives damaged, please retain the original packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs/videos of the package and product.

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

Customised & Bulk Orders

Customised, personalised, corporate gifting, wedding gifting and bulk orders may be subject to different pricing, minimum order quantities, production timelines and payment terms.

Once production of a customised order has commenced, cancellation or modification may not be possible.

Specific terms for customised or bulk orders will be communicated separately before confirmation of the order.

Promotional Offers & Discounts

Promotional offers, discount codes and special pricing may be subject to specific terms, validity periods, minimum order values or other restrictions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional offers cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.

We reserve the right to modify or withdraw promotional offers at any time.
